The Edge - International school for Leadership and Spirituality

Leadership on the Edge

A one day workshop about the sevenfold process of developing leadership intended for Business sponsors, Leadership developers and HRM advisors who want to gain a better understanding of what The Edge is about.

In the world of business and governance there is a general agreement about the fact that these worlds need new leadership. The questions are: which leadership and how to develop it?

We think that the answers to these questions cannot be found if we do not take into account the spiritual dimensions of these questions. The great religions and traditions in this world not only provide answers on how to live decently and efficiently and to meet everyday’s challenges. They also give methods on how to develop the tools and skills we need to practice that. These tools and skills are adopted by modern psychology (often unknowingly) and transformed in practical learning methods.

In this workshop we present and use the developmental process of The Edge, International School for Leadership and Spirituality. This sevenfold model is derived from the seven step process of personal growth, that we find in many spiritual and religious traditions. We won’t limit ourselves to theoretical presentations and discussions, but shall demonstrate how the model works in practice. We’ll ask you to participate in some exercises and share your experience.

What you may gain from this workshop is a general understanding of this model. This can help you to develop your own leadership skills and policy, both personally and in your work place. It also may help you to inspire others.
