About this course

The course will give you a taste of The Edge international leadership school. On a theoretical and experiential level the following topics will be covered: personal leadership (empowerment), finding and holding ones personal strength (autonomy), dealing with setbacks, fear and violence, compassionate listening and communication, communion with the mystery, becoming a spiritual warrior, and much more. This course is an excellent introduction in the intensive training program of The Edge (see below), and/or the Heart Sutra Club, but is also worthwhile in itself: it will increase your personal effectiveness, self esteem and leadership skills.

Where and when and what does it cost?

The introductory course consists of 10 evenings (7-10 p.m.) in a period of 10 months. It is not necessary to attend all sessions and one can join later (after the start). Other courses may be developed elsewhere. Teacher will be Erik van Praag, dean of The Edge. The costs will be for students: € 40 per evening, € 300 for the whole course (€ 80/€ 600 for working people, € 120/€ 900 for corporate participants). If one attends the whole course this amount will be refunded to anyone who later joins the main program of The Edge. If all attendants speak Dutch, the working language will be Dutch.
