A retreat
led by
Erik van Praag and Arnaud de Waij
Who am I?
What am I?
Where am I going?
What’s reality?
Who is another?
Etc.
Every now and then we all have to deal with these questions. Finding true answers is not necessarily easy. We may think we have found the answers but all too often these answers are simply mental constructions that fail to serve us in times of stress. The real, the deeper, answers can’t be constructed on the mental level. They have to be discovered and experienced from within, from within those inner aspects of ourselves from which we derive our peace and strength. Touching this place of deep truth enables us to live and function in this fearful world, to see and embrace what is, and to know what to do or not do. It is the source of courage, hope and faith.
Finding these deeper answers doesn’t just happen. The search for them requires determination and attention. This Quantum Leap retreat offers an opportunity to engage with these questions in an efficient way. Almost everyone will discover one or more of the answers, if not during the retreat itself then shortly afterwards. An experience of happy detachment, a complete and direct experience of embracing all that is, is possible during this retreat.
The working method of this residential retreat is based upon the meditating dyad, a methodology developed by Charles Berner and offered by him as the Enlightenment Intensive. The retreat is structured in a Zen like way.Dyads are alternated with eating meditations, walking meditations, working meditations, sitting meditations. Apart from the dyads and the conversations with the retreat leader the retreat is mainly in silence.Your sole responsibility is to find the answers to your questions.
A retreat for whom?
This retreat is for anyone who wants to live in a peaceful, responsible and harmonious way in this world, and who wants to invest in spiritual development. The retreat is for those with a commitment to self-inquiry and a willingness to share the results of that inquiry with others.
